ARTICLE 1

Brussels Airport Company (BAC), with corporate headquarters at 1030 Brussels, Diamant Building A, Reyerslaan 80, 1030 Brussels, Belgium is co-organising a competition without obligation to buy with Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, with corporate headquarters Benelux at The Base A, Evert van de Beekstraat 1-18, 1118 CL Schiphol, from 3/12/2018 up to and including 02/01/2019, 23h59.

ARTICLE 2

Competition participation is open to every person over 18, residing in Belgium, the Netherlands and France excluding employees of BAC, its partners, its advertising agencies and every other person who has worked on the realisation of this competition.

Also excluded from competition participation are the first-degree family members of all persons mentioned in the previous paragraph, as well as those that live under the same roof as aforementioned.

ARTICLE 3

To validly partake in the competition you must enter via https://discoverasia.brusselsairport.be/en On this page, the participant has to connect the Cantonese word to the correct image. There are 5 questions. At the end, the participant must fill in the tiebreaker question and must choose if they want to be informed on further offers from Brussels Airport and Cathay Pacific.

The player who connects the most words to the correct image will win a Cathay Pacific ticket for 2 persons to Hong Kong. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will be used to decide the winner.

Each participation that is incomplete will be seen as null and void. Each participant may only play once.

ARTICLE 4

BAC and every other involved party will not be held liable in the event of altered modalities of this competition by force majeure. Brussels Airport is not liable for other activities during the stay that were not included in the prize package. If you have ticked opt-in, you subscribe to the Brussels Airport online newsletter and give your permission to use your email address to send newsletters and other Brussels Airport information to; such as special offers and surveys. If you opt in to Cathay Pacific communication, you subscribe to Cathay Pacific’s online newsletter and you give your permission to use your email address to send newsletters and other information from Cathay Pacific, such as special offers and surveys.

ARTICLE 5

The prize package consists of:

The winner will be personally contacted on 4 January 2019 via email. The winner will receive a voucher from Cathay Pacific via email including all the information necessary to book the ticket.

The prizes are not transposable to money, not even partially, and are not transferable to third parties. If necessary, the organiser retains the right to hand out a prize equal in value to the original prize.

ARTICLE 7

Excepting the case in article 6, there will be no digital or telephonic communication regarding the competition, nor will there be any mailings, during or after the competition.

ARTICLE 8

Only 1 prize will be awarded per address, per family and per IP address.
Every attempt at fraud will be punishable by immediate participant disqualification. Any participant of this competition participating in organised form, in a legal or de facto association, by working together to raise chances of winning, will be excluded from the competition. The same rule applies to any who use tricks or manoeuvres, including software programmes or who participate using illegal or malevolent manners to raise chances of winning.

ARTICLE 9

BAC can exclude people from competition participation organised by BAC, for a certain amount of time, in case of violation of any of the participation conditions or in case of violation, deception or a malevolent participation in the competition.

ARTICLE 10

The company organisers retain the right to alter the conditions of the competition in case of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances independent of their will. They cannot be held liable in case of circumstances independent of their will leading to an interruption, delay or cancellation of the competition.

ARTICLE 11

BAC and Cathay Pacific retain the right to communicate about the winners for promotional purposes.

ARTICLE 12

The mere participation in this competition holds the participant to the current terms and conditions without any reserve. No contestation of any kind to the wording of the questions or correlating answers will be accepted.

ARTICLE 13

The current competition is under the supervision of LL.M. Ronnie De Ceuster and LL.M. Lucas Engels, bailiffs in Antwerp, Belgium.

In the case of force majeure, or unforeseen circumstances or in the case of contestation, the organiser will confer with the bailiffs to make all necessary decisions to retain the functioning of the competition. Their decision is sovereign and without recourse.

ARTICLE 14

The participant gives explicit permission to the automated handling of personal details by Brussels Airport Company (BAC), Luchthaven Brussel Nationaal, 1930 Zaventem and Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, with corporate headquarters Benelux at The Base A, Evert van de Beekstraat 1-18, 1118 CL Schiphol. This to guarantee a swift competition processing and to inform you with regards to current and future BAC and Cathay Pacific promotions.

In accordance with the law passed 8 December 1992 and 11 December 1998 with regards to the protection of privacy during handling of personal details you always have the right to consult, rectify, or adjust them. This by simple written request to the above address. The concerned party is also at your service in the event that you no longer wish your personal details to be used for direct marketing purposes.

Competition participation is open to every person over 18, residing in Belgium, the Netherlands and France excluding employees of BAC, its partners, its advertising agencies and every other person who has worked on the realisation of this competition.

DISCOVER ASIA - TOKYO COMPETITION RULES

ARTICLE 1

Brussels Airport Company NV (BAC), with its registered offices at 1030 Brussels, Auguste Reyerslaan 80, with enterprise number 0890.082.292 and All Nippon Airways, with corporate headquarters at Brussels National Airport, Level Arrival PO Box 50, 1930 Zaventem, is/are organising a competition without purchase obligation, which will start on 04/03/2019 and end on 31/03/2019.

ARTICLE 2

Participation in this competition is open to all individuals aged 18 or over, with the exception of: staff members of BAC and its partners, advertising agencies engaged by BAC and any other persons who worked on setting up the current competition.

The following persons are also excluded from participating in this competition: family members in the first degree of the persons listed in the previous paragraph, as well as persons residing at the same permanent address as the persons listed in the previous paragraph.

By entering the competition, participants will be deemed to have accepted these competition rules without any reservation. No disputes will be accepted regarding the wording of the questions and concerning the answers to the questions.
Minors may only participate in online competitions with the express permission of one (1) of their parents or their guardian. Brussels Airport Company will assume that any minor entering a competition is doing so with the permission of their parents or guardian. Minors who are unable to provide confirmation of this permission may at any time be denied further participation in the competition or have their right to a prize taken away.

ARTICLE 3

In order for an entry into the competition to be valid, participants must enter via https://discoverasia.brusselsairport.be/en On this page, the participant has to connect the japanese word to the correct image. There are 5 questions. At the end, the participant must fill in the tiebreaker question and must choose if they want to be informed on further offers from Brussels Airport and ANA.

The player who connects the most words to the correct image will win a ANA ticket for 2 persons to Tokyo. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will be used to decide the winner. When there's a tie after taking the tiebreaker into account, the person with the fastest time will be our winner. All incomplete entries will be excluded from the competition. All participants are restricted to a maximum of one (1) entry in the competition.

Each participation that is incomplete will be seen as null and void. Each participant may only play once.

ARTICLE 4

Participants in the competition will have a chance of winning the following prize:

1 ANA duo-ticket (for 2 people) in Economy class on a ANA operated flight to Tokyo. The tickets are valid for 2 people travelling together. Including airport taxes, luggage and meals. Tickets are nominative and not transferable. Reservations for flights departing before 31/12/2019 need to be made before 31/05/2019 and cannot be changed afterwards. Traveling during the Belgian school holiday periods is not allowed.

ARTICLE 5

The winner will receive a personal confirmation by email.
Prizes are not exchangeable, have no cash value, either in full or in part, and cannot be transferred to a third party. BAC reserves the right to provide a prize equivalent in value to the stipulated prize.

ARTICLE 6

With the exception of the scenario provided for in Article 5, there will be no electronic communication or communication by telephone with regard to this competition, nor will any letters be sent, either while the competition is ongoing or after it has concluded.

ARTICLE 7

Only one (1) prize will be awarded per address per family per IP address.
The penalty for any attempt to commit fraud or artificially improve the chance of winning and any form of manipulation, irrespective of whether this is done in an organised manner and irrespective of whether this is done by means of a computer program, will be the immediate exclusion of the participant.

ARTICLE 8

BAC will at all times have the right to exclude a person from participation in competitions organised by BAC for a specific period in the event of a breach of the participation conditions or in the event of abuse, deception or entry into a competition in bad faith.

ARTICLE 9

The organisers of this competition reserve the right to amend the promotion and the competition or the procedure in the event of unforeseen circumstances or if circumstances beyond the control of the organisers warrant this. The organisers cannot be held liable for any interruption, postponement or cancellation of the competition as a result of circumstances beyond their control.

ARTICLE 10

BAC reserves the right to communicate about the competition and its winners, including for marketing purposes.
By entering, participants agree that if they win a prize, their picture, name and place of residence may be announced on the social media pages, the website and any other digital or analogue channels operated by BAC and ANA.

ARTICLE 11

BAC cannot be held liable for any loss, physical injuries or accidents that could occur as a result of winning a prize and/or participation in a competition.
BAC cannot be held liable for printing, spelling, typographic or other errors, or technical issues (related to the internet, email, etc.).

ARTICLE 12

Participants expressly agree that Brussels Airport Company NV, Luchthaven Brussel-Nationaal, 1930 Zaventem and All Nippon Airways, with corporate headquarters at Brussels National Airport, Level Arrival PO Box 50, 1930 Zaventem may carry out automatic processing of their personal data. This is to guarantee the smooth administration of this competition.
If participants have granted their express consent by ticking the box provided for that purpose and/or ticking the checkbox, BAC will be authorised to contact the participant about promotions, current and future BAC offers, competitions, information, etc.

BAC will treat personal data in accordance with the relevant regulations. These regulations are exclusively subject to Belgian law, with the exclusion of the international private law rules.

DISCOVER ASIA - CHINA COMPETITION RULES

Participation in this competition is open to all individuals aged 18 or over, with the exception of: staff members of BAC and its partners, advertising agencies engaged by BAC and any other persons who worked on setting up the current competition.

The following persons are also excluded from participating in this competition: family members in the first degree of the persons listed in the previous paragraph, as well as persons residing at the same permanent address as the persons listed in the previous paragraph.
